Introducing... Nadia 2.0 - My Retro Modern AI Model
I'm already surprised at what Nadia 2.0 is becoming. Initially, it was just a weird idea. “Oh, wouldn't it be funny if I took my old modeling photos and turned them into an AI fashion model? Ha ha ha ha ha”. But now she has fans on two social media platforms and I even find her cute and inspiring.
Meet Nadia 2.0, the unexpected AI art project that, like many creative endeavors, requires room to become whatever she wants to become on her own, but guided, curated and cultivated by an artist.
As a teen, I was a brainy, artsy introvert constantly writing poems and songs when a modeling scout approached me in a mall in the early nineties. I signed with some smaller agencies, but as I approached my early twenties, the modeling momentum was quickly overshadowed by my songwriting career and my portfolio sat on a dusty shelf. After recently embracing AI, researching what it could do creatively and how I could collaborate with it, I noticed AI models growing in popularity. I jokingly thought about creating "Nadia 2.0" out of my retro modeling pics, mostly from my twenties, (thus the 2.0) mixed with AI innovation, to animate my long lost modeling moment...and poof! here she is!
